The performance is fine. The mod will enhance the lifetime of the game. WIth a 5090 framerate will be ok and with 6090 we will get a totally stable image. When people wants to play the game in 10 years, they will be totally happy about it.

When they announced this update I just read what it will include on pc (wide screen support) and my reaction was... pffff. And they called it NEXT GEN update... what a joke. I am sorry but DF should not be doing sponsored gaming laptop reviews. One thing is the small handhelds and graphics cards, but once you start with sponsorship all goes down the toilet. I hope it’s an exception.

I’d say for what fallout is…. It looks honestly way better for what fallout is. Let’s be real fallout fans love what fallout is and how it’s played. As long as the graphics and most gameplay are updated to today’s standard while catering to fallout fans I respect it. Fallout 4 was probably their best fallout so far I don’t care what people say about new Vegas, fallout 4 was definitely better than fallout new Vegas.

This guy probably is friends/got paid by Nightdive and praises anything they do. The midi music in this 'remaster' sounds worse than the original or TFE and timing is all over the place and the drums, o the drums... Nothing is remastered about the music and sound. And no, the discussed in the video is not an excuse at all. Midi is a recording of all note data. In fact all music sequencers and virtual and real instruments use it. iMuse is just a system to manipulate this data during gameplay. Just a matter of converting that midi data into real time play and using a good sound fonts. They couldn't even be bothered to use AWE32 sound fonts. The remake has nothing to offer above The Force Engine. And certainly not a worthy of the $30 price tag. Btw imuse is used in other games of the era. A lot of Lucas Arts adventure games and things like Tie Fighter so it is nothing unique.

I have a asus rog zephyrus duo with an rtx 3080 with 16gb vram at 130w tgp ryzen 9 5980hx with overclock and 32gb ram 3200mhz and I am able to play everything shown in this video in equal or greater performance I only lose when they use dlss 3 but when I use fsr 3 mod again reached or exceeded the performance of this laptop...and mine is from 2021

We should collecticely petition and come together to no long support bethesda and their 'fallout' games and redivert our funds to modders to build something from scratch

I personally prefer e-gpu setups. Portability has compromise, bolt on powerful gpu allows for a great experience at home, work, or wherever you prefer to station the e-gpu.

I think BioShock DX10 and Tomb Raider Legend on the 360 were two of the stunning milestones in water rendering.

Who buys a gaming laptop in 2024 to play at 30fps, that laptop can do much more than what you showed, you just want to make PS5 look better than it is, that gaming laptop has an Intel core i9 and an RTX 4070 from vran is much more superior to PS 5 and xbox you would be fps and these people come to me with this seriously digital foundry 🙆🏾‍♂️👎🏾

Ive got Xbox One X, and PS4 Pro version. PS4 Pro is better.

I never had any problems going above 60fps on PC without any mods a couple years ago when playing this. Maybe there is a cap now, but there wasn't one before.

Should been the good, the bad, and the buggly. Shame

2.000 € for a 30 fps gaming experience thanks but no thanks.
